The ten nights tour includes Tbilisi, Mtskheta, Jvari, Kazbegi, Kakheti as well as Borjomi and Vardzia. During your trip our local guide and dedicated driver will be looking after you every step of the way providing you with a peace of mind that your trip will be smooth, seamless and perfectly matched to your specific interest and preferences. Upon arrival at the airport we will provide you with a local sim with internet data which you can use through out your stay.
Arrival in Tbilisi International Airport, hotel transfer and check in.
Your Tbilisi walking tour will start with major landmarks such as: Metekhi Church, Narikala Fortress, Abanotubani district, Leghvtakhevi Waterfall, Kaleidoscope house and stunning Rezo Gabriadze Theater.
After the tour you will visit a 17th century wine cellar for local Georgian wine tasting and continue to traditional Georgian restaurant for dinner with folk dancing and singing.
Day two will start with breakfast at the hotel, after which your tour guide will collect you to start your journey to ancient city of Mtskheta, the former capital of Georgia.
Your first stop will be Jvari Monastery, located on a mountaintop with stunning views overlooking Mtkvari and Aragvi rivers. Next you will visit Svetitskhoveli Cathedral built in the 11th century, after which you will take a pleasant walk through traditional souvenirs market down to the riverbank where you will have lunch in a beautiful flower garden. Next you will take a short drive through a picturesque mountain road to a limestone canyon in which you will find a 6th century monastic complex of Shio-Mgvime.
At 5 pm you will return to Tbilisi; your fist stop will be a sunset wine tasting session on a traditional Georgian balcony with stunning views of Tbilisi. After which you will have dinner in award winning Café Littera, located in an impressive historic courtyard, specializing in Georgian Fusion Cuisine.
Day three will start with breakfast at the hotel, after which your tour guide will collect you to start your journey to magnificent Mount Kazbek.
Your first stop will be Zhinvali water reservoir where you can enjoy stunning views overlooking the lake and lush green mountains. Next you will visit Ananuri fortress a historic 13th century complex. After which you will continue your journey through pretty town of Gadauri to Russia-Georgia Friendship monument where you can enjoy breathtaking views over the Caucasus Mountains.
Next stop is Rooms Hotel Kazbegi where you can enjoy lunch with stunning views of Mount Kazbek. After which you will visit Gergeti Trinity Church which is considered to be one of the most beautiful churches in the world, located at an elevation of 2170 meters.
At 6pm you will begin return journey to Tbilisi.
Day four will start with breakfast at the hotel, after which your tour guide will collect you to start your journey to Kakheti Wine Region.
Your journey will take you through picturesque Gombori pass, to your first stop at Chateau Mere in Telavi, where you will enjoy delicious lunch on a beautiful terrace with signature wines degustation.
Your next stop will be Shumi Winery in Tsinandali Village, here you will visit a wine museum where you can learn about ancient Georgian tradition of wine making as well as have a wine degustation.
Last stop for the day will be Lopota Lake Resort & Spa located on a beautiful lakeside amidst tall forests and mountain slopes. It is an ideal destination for those looking for a peaceful place with an atmosphere of ultimate harmony with nature.
Day five will start with breakfast at the hotel and free time to enjoy the beautiful facilities of Lopota Lake with spa and wellness center, outdoor and indoor pools, horse riding, quad bikes, fishing and bikes rentals.
Your tour guide will collect you at 3 pm to continue your journey through the wine country, with first stop at Schuchmann Wines Chateau, where you will try a selection of fine Georgian wines and enjoy a delicious lunch on an open terrace, overlooking the Caucasus mountains.
Your next stop will be a visit to the House Museum of Alexander Chavchavadze where you can explore beautiful grounds, have a tour around the museum and enjoy wine degustation, after which you will return to Lopota Lake Resort.
Day six will start with breakfast at the hotel and free time to enjoy Lopota Lake Resort. Your tour guide will collect you at 3 pm to start the journey back to Tbilisi through scenic Alazani Valley. Upon arrival in Tbilisi you will continue with the walking city tour and visit the hidden gems of Old Tbilisi, followed by wine degustation and dinner at Keto & Kote.
Day seven will start with breakfast at the hotel, after which your tour guide will collect you to start your journey to Borjomi. On the way you will stop for lunch at a picturesque restaurant overlooking the mountains. Upon arrival in Borjomi you will check in to Crowne Plaza Hotel, considered to be one of the best Spa destinations in Georgia.
Your first stop will be Borjomi Mineral Park where you can enjoy striking nature, unique mineral waters and relax in a beautiful environment. Next you will take a short ride in a cable car to the viewing deck from which you can observe stunning views overlooking the National Park. After which you will visit Likani Resort where you can take a pleasant walk to visit Romanov’s Palace, following by wine degustation and dinner at Crowne Plaza Hotel.
Day eight will start with breakfast at the hotel, after which your tour guide will collect you to start your journey to Rabati Castle a medieval fortress built in the 9th century. Next stop will be Vardzia Resort where you can enjoy traditional Georgian lunch with stunning views overlooking the mountains. After which you will visit the spectacular cave city of Vardzia located amidst dramatic slopes of Erusheti Mountains.
Day nine will start with breakfast at the hotel, after which your tour guide will collect you to start your journey back to Tbilisi. Upon arrival in Tbilisi you can either explore the city at your own leisure or take a tour to visit Tbilisi National Gallery, explore the local Flea Market and visit Georgian designers’ boutiques, followed by wine degustation at the Wine Factory and dinner at trendy Veriko restaurant.
Day ten will start with breakfast at the hotel, after which your tour guide will collect you to Tbilisi International Airport.
